About this role
Region Västerbotten works to strengthen good health and sustainable development. We take responsibility for equitable welfare and ensuring that research and innovation yield results.
The Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology (CFOG) Västerbotten is a county organization that includes and collaborates with units from the region's three hospitals. The center has approximately 250 employees. CFOG operates with a county-wide process-oriented approach, and the hospitals collectively ensure that people in Västerbotten have access to specialized maternity care, childbirth, postpartum care, home care, gynecological clinics, gynecological surgery, tumor surgery, and robotic surgery. The Umeå unit handles around 1,800 deliveries per year and is also the center for prematurity from week 22 in the entire northern healthcare region.
We are now seeking Specialist Physicians (ST-läkare) for 2026 at CFOG, primarily located in Umeå.
Umeå is a city with a rich social life and everything within easy reach. If you want to live in a growing university city with a vibrant cultural scene and proximity to both winter and summer activities, Umeå is unbeatable.
