We are seeking a resident physician (ST Läkare) for the Medical Unit in Sollefteå. We are a smaller unit with close proximity and short decision-making paths. There are excellent development opportunities, and we offer a training position with the possibility to influence the structure of the training. We provide a study and work environment that fosters both professional development based on goal descriptions and a sense of belonging. For recovery and balance during leisure time, there are facilities for wellness and training at the region's gym, located at the hospital. Our area actively works towards the transition to Close Care in collaboration with our municipalities and primary care. The positions are permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.
Resident Physician in Internal Medicine for the Medical Clinic and Emergency Department, Sollefteå
Job Responsibilities
As a resident physician, you will work both independently and under supervision. The work arrangement offers a variation between the emergency department, inpatient care, and outpatient clinics. You will be part of the patient-centered team, and your tasks will include:
• Standard ward work including rounds, consultations, admissions, and discharges
• Primary on-call responsibility in the emergency department during both day and night shifts
• Outpatient work with your own scheduled clinic under supervision

Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
• Is a licensed physician
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Holds a valid driver’s license (B)
It is an advantage if you:
• Have experience in research or teaching
• Have experience with person-centered working methods and Close Care
