We have departments and clinics in areas such as surgery, orthopedics, operations, internal medicine, rehabilitation/stroke, maternity/gynecology, and pediatrics.
Medical Center Southern Lapland is an active and developing clinic at Lycksele Hospital. At the hospital, we have extensive and well-functioning collaboration between different clinics. We also have good cooperation with municipal care, primary care, and highly specialized healthcare at the university hospital in Umeå. We actively work and steer towards the overall goal of achieving good and close care for our citizens.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Specialist Training (ST) physician with us, you will contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe.
As an ST physician, you will receive comprehensive internal medicine training and become an important part of our renowned and forward-thinking organization. We cover the entire internal medicine spectrum, but to gain deeper expertise in certain areas, you will spend approximately 2 years at the specialist clinic at NUS, Umeå. You will also participate in the hospital's on-call duties.
In addition to the specialty-specific program, you will participate in EKA training. This is a program focusing on leadership, economics, communication, administration, ethics, and time for personal reflection for ST physicians within Region Västerbotten.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a Swedish medical license with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare, to be obtained no later than the start of employment. You have an interest in specializing in internal medicine.
Special interest in nephrology, endocrinology, oncology, and/or infectious diseases is valuable but not mandatory.
To collectively achieve good and close care, we believe you have good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented approach.
We require good Swedish language skills equivalent to level C1.
