Medicine Center is part of Norrland University Hospital and is a large clinic with over 300 employees. We are undergoing exciting development work aimed at influencing and developing future care in the internal medicine field. The clinic has five sections: ASA Section (emergency medicine, secondary stroke prevention, angiology), Endocrine Section, Gastroenterology Section, Nephrology Section, and Lung and Allergy Section.

We are seeking two Specialty Trainees in Internal Medicine who want to specialize in lung diseases, gastroenterology, endocrinology, nephrology, or general internal medicine.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Specialty Trainee with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better. During your specialty training, you will specialize in internal medicine and work across all clinic units, including inpatient and outpatient care. On-call duties are included. You will actively participate in developing future healthcare, as Medicine Center in Umeå has unique expertise in highly specialized care.
At Medicine Center, you will have an exciting and varied position with excellent conditions for comprehensive training. You will participate in development projects, quality improvement work, and research. During your training, you will follow an individual study program with a mentor in accordance with established specialty guidelines.

In addition to the specialty-specific program, you will also participate in LEKA training, a program focusing on leadership, economics, communication, administration, ethics, and personal reflection for Specialty Trainees in Region Västerbotten.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a Swedish medical license with the authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare no later than at the start of employment. You have an interest in specializing in internal medicine and potentially a chosen subspecialty.
Personal suitability and collaboration skills will be considered.
We require excellent Swedish language skills at level C1.
Beyond formal qualifications, we seek candidates with good collaboration skills, ability to prioritize, and sound judgment.
