It has departments and clinics in areas such as surgery, orthopedics, operating room, internal medicine, rehabilitation/stroke, maternity/gynecology, and pediatrics.
Medical Center Southern Lapland is an active and developing clinic at Lycksele Hospital. At the hospital, we have extensive and well-functioning collaboration between different clinics. We also have excellent cooperation with municipal care, primary care, and highly specialized healthcare at the university hospital in Umeå. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Specialist Training Doctor with us, you will contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure.
You will receive a comprehensive internal medicine training and become an important part of our well-renowned and forward-thinking organization.
While we cover the entire internal medicine spectrum, you will also complete side assignments at the specialist clinic at NUS, Umeå to gain deeper expertise in certain areas. You will also be part of the hospital's on-call service.
The position is focused on dual specialization with internal medicine as the base and nephrology as the additional specialty. Side assignments will be within internal medicine with a focus on nephrology in collaboration with the nephrology unit at Medical Center NUS.
Beyond the specialty-specific program, you will also participate in EKA training - a program focusing on leadership, economics, communication, administration, ethics, and time for personal reflection for Specialist Training Doctors within Region Västerbotten.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have Swedish medical authorization with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare no later than at the start of employment. You have an interest in specializing in internal medicine and nephrology.
To collectively achieve the goal of good and close care, we believe you have good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented approach.
We require excellent Swedish language skills at C1 level.
