Imaging and Functional Medicine (BFM) Västerbotten is a county clinic operating extensive services at Norrland University Hospital in Umeå, Skellefteå Hospital, Lycksele Hospital, and healthcare centers in southern Lapland. Skellefteå Hospital is a regional hospital with 24/7 emergency services.
In Skellefteå, we offer a workplace with solid professional expertise and great opportunities for professional development. Our 45 employees perform approximately 45,000 examinations annually, around the clock. At the radiology department, we conduct conventional X-ray examinations, as well as MRI, CT, and ultrasound examinations, along with non-vascular interventions and biopsies using ultrasound and CT. We currently have five resident physicians on site.

We are now seeking a Resident Physician in Skellefteå!
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a resident physician with us, you will contribute knowledge and commitment that helps people feel secure.
Responsibilities include radiological management and assessment of current radiological examinations. Rounds work is a crucial part of the job. In addition to the specialty-specific program, the resident physician will also participate in the LEKA training program, which focuses on leadership, economics, communication, administration, ethics, and personal reflection for residents within Region Västerbotten. On-call and/or standby duty is included.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a Swedish medical license with the authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare by the start date. You have an interest in specializing in radiology.
Personal suitability and collaboration skills will be considered. You should easily collaborate, take significant responsibility for your tasks, and be attentive to unique situations and the people you encounter. We believe you see the value of good communication and enjoy sharing and receiving new knowledge and experiences.
Excellent Swedish language skills at C1 level are required.
