550 residents as a full-time specialist trainee doctor when you are midway through your training, and 1,100 residents as a newly qualified specialist doctor.

Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated healthcare centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers in the evening and on weekends, and the General Practice Education Center. We conduct broad primary care services where we offer care to all throughout life; newborns, children, youth, adults, the elderly, and patients in their final stages of life.

Job Description
We are announcing a specialist trainee position in general practice, and the service will be structured according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's target description. Based on your individual training plan, you will use the Valdemarsvik Healthcare Center as your base. We look forward to offering you an interesting, developmental, and above all, important job at one of Region Östergötland's healthcare centers, located next to the sea. The goal of your specialist training is to achieve specialist competence in general practice. You will be given space to develop, and we have a good structure for guidance - warmly welcome to us.
About You
You have a Swedish medical license. You have good Swedish language skills in speech and writing. Active research is clearly meritorious, as is an educational interest.
As a person, you are confident and stable. You collaborate well with others and have good communication skills. You are ambitious and driven. You see opportunities in changes and have the ability to handle complex issues. It is important for you to continuously develop your knowledge, and you have a great interest in conducting research and/or education. Personal suitability is highly valued.
