Surahammar Healthcare Center is seeking a physician interested in completing their Specialist Training (ST) with us in a secure, committed, and learning-focused environment.
We are a stable and well-functioning unit with approximately 9,000 listed patients and a competent, unpretentious team with high work morale and excellent team spirit. We have an open and collaborative environment with close cooperation and short decision-making processes. Our facility is located in modern premises in central Surahammar, with proximity to Västerås and beautiful nature.
We are a stable medical group with four permanent specialists in general medicine, five ST physicians, and usually one AT physician. This ensures strong collegial support, a dynamic educational environment, and always someone to discuss matters with – both big and small.
We have an outstanding nursing team that works independently, proactively, and with a strong patient focus.

Regional ST Support
In Region Västmanland, there is a strong and active ST unit with excellent coordination. You will receive qualified assistance in planning supplementary placements and will not need to arrange these yourself. Mandatory courses are typically held in Västerås. ST physicians participate in half-day seminars every other week.
