About this role
Region Västerbotten works to strengthen good health and sustainable development. We take responsibility for equitable welfare and ensure that research and innovation yield results.
We doctors in emergency medicine and related specialties, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work around the clock, year-round, treating approximately 46,000 patients annually.
The Emergency Physician Department at Norrland University Hospital has existed since 2004 and will, by 2026, consist of nearly 45 employed physicians, distributed between resident physicians and emergency medicine specialists, plus a small number of junior doctors.
Work in the emergency department is sophisticated and requires flexibility and strong collaborative skills. At the emergency department, we develop work methods, patient care, and patient flows together with other departments within and outside the hospital, and as an employee, you will be active in the improvement projects we implement.

We are now seeking a licensed physician for our residency position!
