About Us
The Eye Clinic at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, with approximately 260 employees, is a full-scale university clinic and the second-largest in the country.
Our mission encompasses regional and county healthcare, and we have the national healthcare assignment for pediatric cataract and pediatric glaucoma. We are a research-intensive clinic conducting research at an international cutting-edge level. We have an active ongoing change process and a development-focused management. We have a strong community within the physician group, and as a doctor, you will join a team with high competence and experienced colleagues.
Job Responsibilities
As a Specialist Training (ST) physician, you will be part of the Eye Care's training program. The ST section currently consists of 24 ST positions and 4 junior doctors.
Within the clinic's specialized areas, we will offer you extensive training opportunities through courses beyond the standard training program. As a University Hospital, we are committed to being at the forefront of research and development.
About You
We are seeking a licensed physician who has completed Authorized Training (AT) or Basic Training (BT). To thrive here, you should have good collaborative skills and a positive attitude. You enjoy taking responsibility, showing initiative, and working in teams. You like teaching and sharing knowledge with both students and colleagues. We want to utilize your competence while providing excellent opportunities for further education and conducting research/improvement projects.
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability and previous clinical and research experience.
