At AnOpIva Umeå, we provide emergency and planned surgical care, anesthesia with associated postoperative care, intermediate care ward, intensive care for children and adults, and sterilization services in close collaboration with other clinics in the county. The clinic is also responsible for the county and regional flight medical on-call services. The assignment includes conducting research, development, and teaching.

We are now seeking new Specialist Training Physicians in Anesthesia and Intensive Care in Umeå!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Specialist Training involves specialization in Anesthesia and Intensive Care. As a Specialist Training Physician with us, you will contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe. You'll have an exciting and enjoyable job, full of challenges and development opportunities!
As a Specialist Training Physician in Anesthesia and Intensive Care, you will work with others in a patient-focused team. We have a well-developed training plan with supervision and education. Specialist Training Physicians participate in a regional training program for future anesthesiologists. The program is run together with Northern Healthcare Region's study directors, where Specialist Training Physicians are expected to be involved in planning and implementation at some point during their training.
In addition to the specialty-specific program, you will also participate in EKA training for Specialist Training Physicians within Region Västerbotten to meet general sub-goals. A program focusing on leadership, economics, communication, administration, ethics, and time for personal reflection for Specialist Training Physicians in Region Västerbotten.
To make your training as comprehensive as possible, a Specialist Training position with us includes at least three months of service in another location, preferably at one of the other hospitals in the region.
Evening, night, and weekend on-call duties are included in the responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a Swedish medical license with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare no later than the start date. You have an interest in specializing in Anesthesia and Intensive Care.
Beyond formal qualifications, we place great emphasis on personal suitability, such as flexibility, responsibility, and pronounced collaboration skills. To enjoy the role, we believe you thrive in high-paced environments with quick decision-making. We view research merits and previous leadership experience positively.
We require excellent Swedish language skills equivalent to level C1.
Prior to employment, we will request a criminal record extract not older than one year.
