About this role

Region Västerbotten works to strengthen good health and sustainable development. We take responsibility for equitable welfare and ensuring that research and innovation yield results. The Healthcare Administration brings together primary care, dental care, and hospital care in a unified management structure, organized into county and local healthcare areas. The Local Healthcare Area of Skellefteå includes the Emergency Department, Medical and Geriatric Clinic, Rehabilitation Center, Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, Center for Surgical Operations, and primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these will work to provide good and close care. The health centers in primary care form our most important base for close care. Work in primary care is characterized by well-functioning teams of different professionals focusing on good patient and relative treatment, high quality, and accessibility. Continuous improvement work and job satisfaction are taken for granted. This contributes to progress and success in collectively shaping the future of primary care. The general medicine specialty is characterized by patient interactions throughout life. You will meet people of all ages, and as a Specialist Training (ST) doctor, you will learn under quality-assured supervision to independently assess and treat patients with a wide variety of diagnoses. You follow patients over time and are trained to consider the person's entire life situation. Primary Care is now seeking 7 ST doctors for positions at one of our health centers in the local healthcare area. We will match your placement preferences with available supervisors. Do you want to work near the city or in a rural area? At a larger health center or a smaller, more intimate one? In a small community or in the city center? Placement opportunities exist in all three of our primary care areas: - South Area: Anderstorp, Bureå, Burträsk, and Lövånger Health Centers. - West Area: Erikslid, Heimdall, Boliden, and Norsjö Health Centers. - North Area: Moröbacke, Ursviken, Kåge, and Byske Health Centers.
