We are now seeking Specialty Training Physicians (ST-läkare) for the Umeå Near-Healthcare Area, currently placed at health centers in: Mariehem, Sävar, and Robertsfors (Base Unit North); Bjurholm, Vännäs, and Vindeln (Base Unit West); Hörnefors and Teg (Base Unit South); Holmsund and Ålidhem (Base Unit East).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Specialty Training Physician with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that helps people feel secure.
The specialty of general medicine is characterized by patient interactions throughout life. As a Specialty Training Physician, you will encounter people of all ages with various health-related issues, independently assess and treat these, including experiences and ailments not caused by definable diseases. In specialized general medical work, an individual's different health problems are followed over time, and the entire life situation must be considered in health problem assessments. You are an active participant in the physician group and collaborate with other professional groups.
Your Specialty Training position includes on-call duty.
In addition to the specialty-specific program, you will participate in LEKA training - a program focusing on leadership, economics, communication, administration, ethics, and personal reflection for Specialty Training Physicians within Region Västerbotten.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a Swedish medical license with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare, valid by start date. You have an interest in specializing in general medicine.
We require excellent Swedish language skills at C1 level.
You should be interested in participating in operational development and prepared to take personal responsibility in various matters. Valued personal traits include good communication skills, strong collaboration abilities, and flexibility at work.
Personal suitability and collaboration abilities will be considered.
A B driver's license is required for placement in Primary Healthcare.
