The Care and Support Administration is responsible for providing care, support, and assistance to the elderly and people with disabilities, as well as supporting their relatives. Our goal is to provide good conditions for an independent, stimulating, and secure life situation - around the clock. We are 2,500 employees who, in our various roles, provide support and care to those who need it.
The Position and Tasks
We are seeking support educators for Botkyrka Municipality's group accommodations under LSS who want to contribute to strengthening residents' independence and participation in daily life.
The Care and Support Administration's group accommodations are conducting a joint recruitment where several units are seeking new employees. As a support educator, you work closely with residents in daily support and have an extended pedagogical responsibility. You guide colleagues, ensure quality of work methods, and develop methods that promote both individual and organizational development.
Your primary tasks will be to:
• Participate in daily work at the group accommodation together with support assistants
• Guide colleagues in social documentation, implementation plans, and low-affective approaches
• Introduce and follow up on methods such as AAC and clarifying pedagogy
• Plan and document, for example, resident meetings in consultation with the unit manager
• Drive organizational development by spreading knowledge and stimulating a pedagogical approach
As a support educator, you combine day-to-day work with a development assignment that contributes to residents having an independent, meaningful, and secure life.

Who We Are Looking For
You have a vocational college degree as a support educator in the disability field and experience working with people with disabilities. You have a good ability to apply pedagogical methods in practice and are confident in the role of a supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
• Experience with social documentation
• Experience in applying pedagogical methods in practice
• Experience in creating implementation plans
We consider it meritorious if you have:
• Experience working with personal care and medication management
• Previous work experience as a support educator
• Knowledge of communication support such as AAC/TAKK
As a support educator, you need to be secure in your professional role and able to meet residents in various situations in a stable and professional manner. Your pedagogical ability and creativity will help you find solutions that strengthen residents' participation and independence in daily life.
You collaborate closely with support assistants and unit managers and contribute to a good team spirit. You are solution-oriented and adaptable to changing conditions to ensure the quality of support.
