The company will manage all municipal care operations in Landskrona starting in 2025 and is owned by the City of Landskrona.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a support educator, your role involves working pedagogically and providing guidance with interventions according to the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your daily work, you ensure that the interventions for our clients are characterized by quality, participation, structure, and individual focus. You recognize the importance of, and have the ability to create, good relationships and understand your own role in the group’s ability to work cohesively.
Your responsibilities include, among others:
- Working closely with clients providing support and care in daily activities and supporting their independence. Your approach is rooted in pedagogical methods, respectful interaction, and the LSS.
- Developing, documenting, and following up on implementation plans and individual goals.
- Contributing to a structured and development-oriented working method.
- Collaborating with relatives, guardians, and external actors.
- Acting as a contact person for clients within the unit, which involves additional responsibility for this client's intervention, such as implementation plans and communication with representatives and various care institutions.
- As a support educator, you are expected to have a comprehensive pedagogical perspective where you support, guide, and coach your colleagues and drive the development of pedagogy within the unit together with the unit manager.
We work with co-staffing between units within support for individuals with disabilities. It is a prerequisite for the position that you enjoy and feel secure working in this flexible and collaborative manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
• Completed post-secondary education comprising at least 200 YH credits or 60 higher education credits, with a clear focus on the disability field.
• At least one year of work experience with the target group of individuals with autism/intellectual disabilities/neuropsychiatric diagnoses/psychiatric symptoms.
• You are confident in working with methods such as low-arousal responses and clear pedagogical approaches.
• Social documentation is a natural part of your work; you are accustomed to working in various digital operational systems.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
Meritorious:
• Experience working within or in collaboration with psychiatric services and substance abuse.
• Experience with Timecare scheduling as we work with a flexible schedule where you create your own roster.
