About this role
**Job Description**
Prilyckegatan 149 is a residence with special services.
Here, seven residents live, and the operation also includes a satellite apartment located a short distance from the residence. Our residents have intellectual disabilities and are on the autism spectrum.
As a support educator, you have the overall responsibility for the educational work within the operation. Your role is to gather and disseminate knowledge about working methods and approaches, as well as to ensure that these are used and developed effectively. Together with the workgroup, you establish, implement, and follow up on routines, action plans, and activity descriptions. This way, we all become better at understanding needs and providing the right support, enabling more individuals to live a good and independent life like everyone else.
As a support educator, you ensure that social documentation and implementation plans are established, further developed, and followed according to laws and guidelines. You act as support and guide for each individual employee, the workgroup, and you also provide support to the manager. You mentor the workgroup based on the needs and methods of the operation. Together with your colleagues, you play a central role in the quality development of the operation and the systematic improvement work.
You are part of a network with other educators and collaborate with relatives, guardians, and other key individuals to ensure residents receive good care, support, and services.
The residence with special services offers support around the clock. We base our work on the residents' needs and need to adapt working hours accordingly. Working hours may include day, evening, and weekend shifts as needed. We use Time Care Planning for operationally adapted and flexible schedules.
