About this role

We are now looking for you with previous experience in LSS who wants to work as a support educator at one of our units within Mo Gård LSS in Nyköping! Do you have prior experience in LSS and want to work as a support educator in an environment where the individual's needs are the focus? Then this could be the right position for you! We are currently seeking someone who wants to become part of our team at one of our units in Nyköping: Svalsta, Växthusgränd, or Berguven. We also have daily activities in Nyköping. Work at Mo Gård is varied, eventful, and developmental – no day is the same. About the role As a support educator, you will work alongside the unit manager and special educator to ensure that the staff group has the necessary knowledge and ability to provide services according to LSS to the individuals in the unit. You will be an active part of the workgroup and participate in the daily work closely with the individual. Your task is to ensure the various steps of the operational process, such as planning, implementation, and evaluation/follow-up. You will work to ensure that laws and regulations regarding documentation and quality assurance of methods and practices in the unit are followed. The role also includes providing support and guidance to staff in realizing implementation plans in practical work with the individual. Who are you? We are looking for someone who has a vocational college education as a support educator and experience working with individuals with intellectual or neuropsychiatric disabilities. You have good knowledge of LSS and are comfortable documenting and working in a structured manner. Since we work in a sign language environment, we prefer that you have knowledge of – or an interest in – sign language. Experience or interest in ICT is also an advantage. As a person, we believe you are credible, creative, and have a positive view of people. You enjoy collaborating, are open to new ideas, and easily adapt to changes. Employment We offer a permanent position with a six-month probationary period and individual salary setting. Start date is according to agreement. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and nights/on-call. To be considered for the position, you need to provide a criminal record extract, have a valid Swedish work permit, and hold a B driver's license.
