About this role

Are you ready to help build something new? We are seeking a support educator for our residential facility with special services for individuals with acquired brain injuries. We are in a startup phase and are looking for someone who wants to help shape an operation where the work environment is in focus – because we know that a good work environment is the foundation for doing an exceptional job. The Role of Support Educator The residential facility is newly established and targets individuals with acquired brain injuries, which requires special attention to sensitivity, patience, and creativity in work approaches. Communication is a fundamental pillar – both for ensuring residents' well-being and participation, and for creating good cooperation among colleagues. Your Responsibilities: - Plan, implement, and follow up on pedagogical interventions - Strengthen users' independence and participation - Explore and develop communication methods together with residents - Document and evaluate interventions according to current guidelines - Collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other stakeholders - Participate in the development of the facility Your Profile As a person, you have a natural ability to listen, explore new approaches, and adapt to individual needs. You are self-confident, perceptive in interactions with others, and have a genuine interest in working with people. With a positive approach, you see opportunities rather than obstacles and can easily engage others in change work and development. You contribute to a good work climate and enjoy working both independently and systematically. Your flexibility and solution-focused mindset enable you to handle daily challenges with both commitment and professionalism. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. We Are Seeking Someone Who: - Is a trained support educator or has other relevant post-secondary education - Has experience working in LSS or similar services - Has excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written - Has knowledge of IBIC (Individual Needs at the Center), AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and low-affective approach Merits Include: - Experience working in healthcare, care, and rehabilitation - Knowledge of various aids that can support an individual's daily life and communication Learn More About Us [Link to website] Our Offer and Additional Information We offer a permanent full-time position starting by mutual agreement. - Opportunity to be involved from the start and influence the facility's design - An engaged and competent work team - Further education and supervision - A workplace that values cooperation, respect, and development - Full-time 37 hours, varying work hours, mostly daytime. Administrative time as needed All employees in Individual & Family Care's Residential Services are employed full-time but have the option to reduce working hours based on operational needs.
