About this role
We are seeking a support pedagogue for our short-term supervision and short-term stay unit.
Do you want to support our users in living a meaningful and active life? Then you might be one of our new colleagues?
Do you want to join us and make a difference every day?
We are looking for a support pedagogue for one of our short-term supervision/stay units for children and young people within LSS. Here, you will have the opportunity to work pedagogically with planning and follow-up, supporting our users together with our support assistants and pedagogical coordinators.
Users at our unit have significant support needs and challenging situations may arise. We consider it meritorious if you have experience working with challenging behaviors of both physical and verbal nature. We work in a dynamic environment, so we are seeking someone who is confident in their professional role and accustomed to working independently.
About Us
At our short-term supervision and short-term stay units, we support our users in daily life with care, leisure, and cultural activities. The unit serves children, youth, and young adults with autism and other functional variations aged 13 and older.
The facility is open 24/7, which means you will work irregular hours and every other weekend, with night shifts possible. In a full-time position as a support pedagogue, support assistant, or support worker, you will work 36.33 hours per week.
Short-term supervision is for individuals with disabilities who no longer qualify for after-school care but still need support. Supervision is offered before and after school, during holidays and study days, and is available for individuals from age 13 until completing high school.
Short-term supervision offers relaxing and active leisure activities that provide physical and mental stimulation, allowing users to socialize with other young people under adult supervision.
Short-term stay provides individuals with disabilities an opportunity for environmental change while offering relief to their families.
We serve both children and adults, offering stays during weekdays and weekends. The stay provides users with environmental change, stimulation, and social interaction, and can also serve as good preparation for those considering moving out.
Schedule includes day/evening/weekend shifts with 36.33 hours/week. Night shifts may occur.
