The group home Lästgränd is located in Gislaved. The facility is intended for individuals with disabilities and care needs. The residents living in the group home have decisions made under the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).
This advertisement pertains to a permanent position with working hours scheduled for days/evenings/weekends.
Responsibilities
Together with other employees, you will work to make everyday life meaningful, clear, and enriching for the residents. You will support/guide the residents in personal care, meals, medication management, household maintenance, community contacts, and communication.
A key part of the job is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time so they can live like others based on their circumstances. You will adapt the environment according to the residents' needs and conditions. The work is based on individual implementation plans.
Your responsibilities also include IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health and medical care tasks.
Tools that will be used include: PFA - pedagogical approach and working methods, communication aids, visual support, sensory stimulation, and more.
Qualifications
Support Pedagogue: Support pedagogue education with a focus on the disability area.
Support Assistant: Care and nursing program with a focus on psychiatry, disability area, or the child and leisure program with a focus on social or educational work.
Alternatively: Behavioral scientist, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Experience with the target group is required for the position, as well as a valid driver's license (B), the ability to swim, and no allergy to chlorine.
