The group home on Åbjörnsgatan is located in Gislaved. The service is intended for individuals with disabilities and care needs. The residents living in the group home have decisions made under the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS).
This advertisement pertains to a permanent position with working hours scheduled for day/evening/weekend.
All staff work on call according to Appendix J and 2 out of 4 weekends. Long working shifts may occur.
**Responsibilities**
Together with other employees, you will work to make everyday life meaningful, clear, and rich in content for the residents. You will support/guide the residents in personal care, meals, medication management, household maintenance, community contacts, and communication.
An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the residents to maintain or develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time so they can live like others according to their circumstances. Adapt the environment based on the residents' needs and conditions. The work is based on individual implementation plans.
The responsibilities also include IT-based documentation and administration as well as delegated health and medical care tasks.
The tools you will use include: PFA - pedagogical approach and working methods, communication aids, visual support, sensory stimulation, among others.
**Qualifications**
Support Pedagogue: Support pedagogue training with a focus on the disability area.
Support Assistant: Care and nursing program with a focus on psychiatry, disability area, or child and leisure program with a focus on social or educational work.
Alternatively: Behavioral scientist, treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
Experience with the target group is required for the position, as well as the ability to swim and no allergy to chlorine. A B driver's license is also a requirement.
