Unika Brunnvägen is a group residence according to LSS category 1, located in the idyllic town of Ulricehamn, close to forests and waterways. The property consists of 6 apartments in a single-story building.
About the Role of Support Educator
In the role of Support Educator, you will provide support and services based on the residents' wishes, both at home and during leisure activities. You will contribute to ensuring that the residents have the opportunity for an active and meaningful life. Furthermore, you should be able to recognize each person's individual needs and conduct educational work accordingly. As the needs vary among the users, no day is the same, which adds to a challenging and exciting job.
You will work closely with the users alongside your colleagues and have significant responsibility, in consultation with the operations manager, to drive and develop the educational work within the organization. Some delegated health and medical care tasks are included in the role.
Qualifications
• Degree from the Support Educator program, 200 YH points or 60 HP in pedagogy.
• Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS adults category 1.
• Basic knowledge of household tasks such as nutrition and hygiene.
• Computer proficiency and good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you also have:
• Experience in leadership.
• Experience working with individuals with autism and challenging behavior.
• Experience working with individuals with complex psychosocial behavioral issues.
• Experience in clear communication and low-arousal responses.
