**JOB DESCRIPTION**
Do you want to make a real difference? Seize the opportunity and express your interest in becoming a support family under LSS for an active child of preschool age! As a support family, you will open your home for a predetermined number of days each month. Together with the guardians, you will plan which days work best. In your care, the child will receive security, companionship, and enjoyable activities tailored to their needs, wishes, and circumstances. You will also provide important support to the guardians in the form of relief, serving as an additional resource that truly makes a difference.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
As a support family, it is important that you have a stable everyday life. For this role, in addition to establishing a safe and trusting relationship, the focus is on creating a meaningful and stimulating environment with activities suitable for a child of the relevant age. The goal is to engage in activities such as outdoor play, excursions, and other everyday situations by providing practical support in certain aspects due to a physical disability. The assignment thus aims to enable participation. Continuity is also crucial for the success of the assignment, so it is desirable that you can remain available over time.
Finally, it is also advantageous if you have work or personal experience in supporting individuals with physical disabilities.
To be appointed as a support family, an investigation will be conducted to gather information about various aspects of your life. References and a criminal record check will also be requested. Preference will be given to those living in or near Mullsjö. You should work well in collaboration with the social services as the contracting authority and demonstrate the ability for transparent and constructive communication and coordination with guardians, as well as work towards agreed-upon goals.
**OTHER INFORMATION**
Regarding compensation, reimbursement for expenses and fees will be based on SKR guidelines and the final assessment of Mullsjö Municipality. There is also the possibility of receiving guidance and regular check-ins to support you in your role.
Guardians or other relatives are responsible for dropping off and picking up the child from you as the support family. They are also responsible for providing pocket money for activities such as entrance fees, cinema visits, or similar.
A valid B driver's license is a requirement.

Employment can only occur after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.
