About this role

**About the Job** We are looking for new dedicated support assistants for our new service housing in Kallebäck. The facility consists of five apartments focused on intellectual disabilities and psychiatry. As an employee with us, you will have the opportunity to help develop our operations moving forward. You will actively participate in your own and the group’s professional development, and we encourage each other to share experiences and knowledge we acquire. The service housing will be staffed around the clock. Therefore, it is a requirement that you can work days, evenings, and every other weekend. We work with a flexible base schedule and co-planning, which means you will also work shifts at other units. As a support assistant, you will support our tenants based on individual needs, aiming to lead to a good and independent life. The starting point is that our tenants should be involved and have the opportunity to influence decisions and interventions according to their own abilities. You will provide support in daily life, ranging from communication and stimulation of leisure activities to household chores. The role includes collaboration with all other individuals involved with the tenant, such as guardians, relatives, and healthcare professionals. The work involves social documentation and medication management according to delegation. As a support assistant, we work with designated contact persons for our tenants. By establishing and following implementation plans, you ensure that the tenants' needs are prioritized. The work includes motivating tenants in their daily lives. This may involve encouraging contacts outside the residence and creating conditions for enriching leisure activities based on the tenant's interests. As a support assistant, you enable our tenants to develop and grow. **Qualifications** We are looking for candidates who have a degree from the Health and Care Program, support assistant training, or the Child and Leisure Program with a focus on social or educational work. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for individuals with disabilities. The education should include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care. You need to have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1. Those who do not meet the qualification requirements may be offered to take a language test through the testing provider Educateit. You must be able to read, write, and express yourself fluently both orally and in writing in Swedish, as communication and documentation are central parts of quality work. You have at least three years of experience working in care with individuals in neuropsychiatry and with implementation plans. You have knowledge of social documentation and medication management according to delegation. Since the service housing is staffed around the clock, you need to be able to work days, evenings, and every other weekend.
