About this role
We make a difference every day! Do you want to work in a solution-focused and goal-oriented environment where variation, creativity, and development are at the core?
With us, you will have the opportunity to work at three group homes located centrally in Kristianstad, specifically in Viby (HĂ€rfĂ„gelvĂ€gen) and the Vilan/LĂ„ngebro area (Ăstra Borggatan and Södra LĂ„nggatan). We also collaborate with other nearby facilities, where you will have the chance to work as well. Your primary placement will be at one of the units, but we value curiosity and collaboration across the entire area.
We are looking for someone who can work days, evenings, or nights â with flexibility across the entire operational area. Weekend work is required, which means you will work four weekend shifts over a four-week period.
Your role with us
Our work is characterized by the vision "We lift together" and the core values of "Participation, Joy, Openness, and Citizen Value" as a natural part of our daily operations.
Your tasks primarily involve providing our clients with individual support and care, developing and maintaining abilities and communication considering their disabilities. You will support clients' participation in leisure and cultural activities, involvement at various levelsâindividual, group, and community levelâas well as self-determination and personal integrity.
You will be a contact person, responsible for ensuring that implementation plans are established and followed up. Additionally, you will be responsible for social documentation according to applicable guidelines. If necessary, you will perform medical tasks delegated by a nurse or assist clients with self-care.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking someone who is a trained nursing assistant, preschool teacher, leisure leader, or has another upper secondary education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is required for this role. It is an advantage if you have experience as a support assistant, as well as experience in care-related work or educational work within LSS operations. Familiarity with TAKK, low-arousal approaches, and AAC is beneficial. We also appreciate experience in being a contact person.
Since the job requires communication and documentation, we expect you to be computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience working with journal systems such as LifeCare is an advantage. You should also have a B driver's license.
You are a team player who can also take initiative and make quick decisions. You are a person with a low-arousal working style and are resilient under stress. You want to contribute to increased quality and safety and wish to develop with us.
To succeed in this role, you should be socially competent and have good collaboration skills, be resilient to stress, flexible, and find solutions in everyday situations. You maintain a professional demeanor towards everyone you encounter in your work. Furthermore, you have the ability to plan and structure your work from a holistic perspective, can make independent decisions while respecting decisions made by others, and can carry out tasks on behalf of others. As a person, you are attentive to the client's needs. You can work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues. You should be interested in working with people, and knowledge of LSS and our methods is advantageous.
