Uttervägen is a group housing facility according to LSS, focusing on intellectual disabilities. The residence houses young, active residents with many leisure activities. All residents have their own apartments and share common areas such as kitchen and living room.

Your Tasks
As a support assistant, you support residents in their daily lives based on approved interventions. This may involve support with meals, cleaning, laundry, personal care, and mobility, as well as planning and implementing activities. You provide both social and practical support, focusing on strengthening and leveraging the individual's own abilities, and creating good conditions for independence and participation.
The role involves participating in activities based on residents' interests and needs – such as at the stable, gym, at home, or in nature. The work also includes documentation, journaling, working with implementation plans, and medication management.
Heavy lifting and potential incidents of aggression may occur in the workplace.
About You
You have a good ability to collaborate and maintain a professional approach towards residents, relatives, and other parties involved with our residents. You are committed and willing to share our values, work towards set goals, and continuously improve. You have a solution-focused and flexible approach and enjoy creating and maintaining structure. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
To communicate with residents, relatives, and colleagues, write and review care documentation, etc., good Swedish language skills are required - both spoken and written.
Smoking and pets may be present in the workplace, so you should not have allergies.
Requirements
Trained nursing assistant, childcare worker, or other education in healthcare or pedagogy
Experience working in disability care services
Experience with planning, follow-up, and analysis of support interventions
B driver's license
Other Information
Work hours are scheduled for day, evening, weekend, and night shifts. Co-planning occurs between our disability care services.
