We are seeking a committed and confident support assistant for our specialized LSS residential facility, Stenebrunn. The facility supports individuals with extensive disabilities, often combined with challenging behaviors. We provide support to children, youth, and adults. We work with low-arousal approaches and individualized support to create a safe and developmental environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a support assistant, you will provide individually tailored daily support based on each individual's needs and abilities. You will use low-arousal approaches and clarifying pedagogy to create predictability and security. The role involves professionally and methodically preventing and managing challenging behaviors. You will closely collaborate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals to ensure the best possible care and quality of life for residents. Documentation according to current guidelines is an important part of the work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with education in healthcare and social services, child and youth work, or other relevant experience in disability support. To thrive in this role, you need to be self-assured, have good self-awareness, and be able to work calmly and methodically even in stressful situations. You should be collaborative, communicate clearly, and maintain a respectful approach towards both colleagues and residents. As the work can be physically demanding, you need to be in good physical and mental health. You should be able to cycle and swim, have a manual transmission driver's license, and have access to transportation. A probationary employment period may be applied.
