About the Workplace
Skepplanda Road Group Home is located in Skepplanda and consists of two houses.
Residents have decisions made under the LSS Act, and the operation is grounded in respect for the user's self-determination and integrity. We work from a salutogenic approach, ensuring each individual receives a comprehensible, manageable, and meaningful daily life. In your work, the needs of our residents will always be the primary focus.
We are a large staff group where several employees work in both houses and can adapt their approach to different individual needs. We are now seeking a support assistant who can strengthen our skilled team. You will primarily work in one house where we have overnight on-call duty.
Job Responsibilities
As a support assistant, you will work directly with users and, together with your colleagues, implement interventions according to LSS decisions. Therefore, you need to be well-versed in LSS legislation.
Residents have various functional variations, so you need knowledge and experience with low-affective approaches, AAC communication, and experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum. The main mission is to make everyday life meaningful and ensure they can live a life like everyone else.
The role includes supporting users in developing goals based on implementation plans to increase their independence. You need to be comfortable with social documentation and have experience with implementation plan work.
We seek someone who is confident and stable in their professional role and has experience with the target group. It is important that you take responsibility for your tasks, plan, organize, and can prioritize your work. The ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, is required, as documentation is part of the job.
The position involves varying work hours including day, evening, overnight on-call, and every other weekend.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a positive human perspective and strong values. You should have completed a care program or have equivalent education as assessed by the employer. You must be able to create good relationships and empathize with another person's situation, wishes, and needs to work from a user perspective and place the individual's needs at the center. Treating colleagues and users with respect is a given for you.
Knowledge of the Treserva documentation system is meritorious.

Since we have access to a car, a B driver's license is strongly desired.
