In the spring of 2025, a new service residence according to LSS opened at Nackstavägen 18C. We are now looking for someone who wants to become an important part of our team. We have high ambitions and strive for the operation to maintain a high quality and level of knowledge, where you will play a central role in realizing this. The operation targets individuals covered by LSS who have comorbidities. We are working towards new methods and increased collaboration with other entities. With us, we actively work with the whole individual and collaborate with all stakeholders around the individual. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will be an important part of creating a safe, developing, and meaningful existence for the care recipients. Collaboration with other professionals is included in your role to ensure that the care recipients' needs are met in a pedagogical and structured manner, focusing on the individual's participation and independence. Based on laws, goals, and guidelines, you contribute to ensuring that the user is at the center and has influence over and participates in their interventions. You will work according to LSS and other relevant legislation, as well as the municipality's values, political goals, and other guidelines. The interventions should be based on the individual's psychological, physical, and social needs, aiming to minimize the consequences of disabilities as much as possible. Your role includes: • Providing support, care, and assistance to the individual while motivating them to engage in meaningful activities, in a way that strengthens the individual's resources and enables as independent a life as possible. • Working with social documentation, follow-ups, and reporting deviations. • Structuring and planning work according to the employer's established directives. • Performing health and medical tasks delegated by a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. • Following work methods, common approaches, routines, and guidelines. • Having areas of responsibility and assignments both within and outside the regular workplace. • Actively participating in meetings and planning days. • Contributing to the development of a qualitative operation by providing ideas for changes and improvements and participating in professional development. • Assisting in the introduction of new staff and mentoring students according to applicable routines. • Collaborating with the user's network and other partners. The position includes work during inconvenient hours. The workgroup will consist of a coordinator, a support educator, ten support assistants, and a unit manager. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with training as a support assistant (nursing assistant with a focus on disability care) or other education deemed equivalent. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements for the position: • Experience working with low-arousal responses • B driver's license • Good knowledge of Swedish Meritorious: • Experience working with clear pedagogical methods and AAC/TAAC • Basic computer skills and the ability to work in, order, and register in various operational systems.
