**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are now looking for a new colleague to join our team at the LSS residence Lindängsgatan 6!
We are a service residence within LSS located in central Skene, with a total of 13 residences.
Our mission is to work together with individuals to create independence, meaningfulness, and personal development based on their individual circumstances. We utilize the operational support Boet, which is part of strengthening the residents' self-determination and participation in their daily lives.
As a support assistant with us, you will:
- Collaborate with the team to support, activate, and motivate users in their daily lives based on individual needs and wishes.
- Work with your team to identify needs and create conditions that lead the user towards greater independence.
- Actively work based on the users' implementation plans.
- Have delegated healthcare tasks such as medication delegation and serve as a contact person while fulfilling documentation obligations.
- Actively contribute to the development of the operation in relation to applicable regulations, legislation, and recommended methods.
- Maintain a low-arousal approach and attitude, working based on clear pedagogical principles and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC).
There will be instances of working alone, and the working hours will include day, evening, weekend shifts, as well as on-call duties.
Animals are present in the operation, so you should not be allergic or afraid of animals.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
You who are applying should be a trained support assistant, nursing assistant, or have other relevant education that we as an employer assess to be equivalent. Previous experience in LSS operations and working with various types of disabilities is required to provide users with the right conditions and support.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a positive outlook and is both professional and secure in your role.
- Has a strong commitment and interest in the target group and has the ability to meet people in a professional manner.
- Is calm and clear in communication, attentive, and can motivate users to maintain their abilities and independence.
- Can easily adapt your working methods based on changing conditions and new information. You can work independently, make your own decisions, and plan and prioritize work when necessary. You have the ability to take a step back and see the user's needs.
- Can communicate and express yourself well both verbally and in writing in Swedish. Good computer skills are essential as documentation is an important part of our work.
- It is an advantage if you have previously worked with the operational systems Lifecare and Boet.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position.
