About this role

As a support assistant with us, you will provide our residents with individually tailored support in their daily lives and encourage and assist them in leisure activities. The role involves working based on the residents' needs and preferences, which forms the foundation for the personalized support in the users' everyday lives. Your work contributes to ensuring that our users can lead as independent a life as possible. Care work is included in the tasks, as well as quality assurance in the form of social documentation, implementation plans, and routines. You will collaborate with the users, their relatives/guardians, and staff from other services. Our key concepts in the work are motivational work, structure, network building, documentation, meaningful everyday life, and collaboration. This position is suitable for you if you can work days, evenings, and every other weekend. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has completed support assistant training, a vocational degree from a healthcare and social care program or a child and leisure program, or equivalent education deemed comparable by the employer. You have experience working with individuals with intellectual, mental, and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. You are accustomed to working systematically according to routines, implementation plans, and applicable legislation. Good knowledge and practical experience with assistive devices and transfer techniques, as well as familiarity with digital tools in healthcare, are required for the position. It is an advantage if your work experience is as a support assistant in the aforementioned areas. A driver's license is desirable but not a requirement. As a person, you are responsible and have a respectful approach with the user's best interests in focus. You easily adapt to individuals and situations and possess good collaboration skills and a pedagogical approach. Kvarnfallsvägen Group Home in Sävedalen is one of Partille Municipality's LSS residences. The residences are adapted for individuals covered by the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons. Here, six individuals live in their own apartments. At Kvarnfallsvägen Group Home, we work with situation- and activity-adapted methods. With ongoing reviews of staffing, we create space for both spontaneity and enhancing the quality of life. This is a working method that both staff and users enjoy. You will be part of a work group consisting of eight support assistants and one support educator. Our work group also receives training/guidance from the municipality's four method developers as needed to ensure work methods and enhance competence within the group.
