At Bygdevägen's service housing, you will provide support to adults with disabilities in a safe and developmental environment where joy, respect, and participation are the focus, every day. About the Position As a support assistant with us, you will work to strengthen the individual's independence, participation, and quality of life in a safe and predictable environment. Through a professional and low-affective approach, structured pedagogy, and respect for each individual's needs, good conditions for daily development are created. The work involves working from a clear structure, building trusting relationships, and being present during both calm and challenging moments. Some of your typical work tasks will include: • Providing care and support in ADL tasks in the residents' homes • Planning and participating in activities, both at home and in the community • Working based on the current implementation plan and performing documentation • Contact and collaboration with colleagues, relatives, and other important people in the person's daily life • Handling practical household tasks such as cooking, shopping, and laundry Bygdevägen's service housing consists of 7 apartments and a base apartment. Approximately 5 minutes walking distance to the commuter train station and Sollentuna center with a wide range of shops and restaurants. The position is a permanent employment, with possible probation period, at 85.51% with commencement according to agreement. Our operations determine working hours, which can be day, evening, weekend, and on-call. To succeed in the job, we see that you have: • At least a high school diploma from the healthcare and care program or equivalent education • Good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing • Basic computer skills, able to use email, Word, and work in journal systems It is meritorious if you have experience with clarifying pedagogy and/or low-affective approach. It is also positive if you have knowledge of and have worked with KASAM (sense of coherence), and have an understanding of what LSS means and how the law is implemented in practice to promote self-determination and participation.
