About this role
About the Job
Förskolevägen's residence with special services is located by the beautiful Askimsviken, close to the beach, sea, and nature.
Here, 10 individuals aged 31 to 56 live with individual and varying support needs. Our target group consists of individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism. They reside in their own apartments with access to shared spaces. The residents are active in various activities such as sports, training, church, swimming, and various events, where you will play an important role.
We are now looking for someone interested in a developing role where you will support individuals in their daily lives and enable them to have a meaningful existence. We offer a stimulating work environment where you, together with the unit manager, two educators, and the work team, will participate in the planning and development of the operations.
In your role as a support assistant, you will work with a variety of tasks ranging from providing educational support in daily life to being involved in community life and leisure activities. Personal care and assistance at home, such as laundry, cleaning, and cooking, will be carried out as much as possible together with the residents. You will work in a motivating manner and create conditions for structure, participation, and self-determination based on each person's abilities.
You will be the contact person for one resident. This involves maintaining contact with relatives and other networks, as well as actively working to follow up on implementation plans and managing ongoing documentation, which is done with the resident's participation.
Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, and every other weekend according to a set schedule.
At Förskolevägen's residence, you will be part of a work team with positive and engaged colleagues. Together, we make a difference, and our work is important for individuals who need personalized support in their daily lives.
