Job Responsibilities
We offer you an exciting job where you work alongside knowledgeable and experienced colleagues to provide users with safe and quality care, support in daily life, and stimulating leisure activities. The work is varied and planned based on each individual's needs and conditions. You will assist with tasks such as shopping, cooking, cleaning, and leisure activities. The assignment also includes social documentation, advocacy, and medication management under delegation. We work with a low-arousal approach and structured methods to help the individual achieve as independent a life as possible. The work can sometimes be challenging and physically demanding, which requires you to be confident in yourself and easy to collaborate with.
Härryda municipality is working to reduce the number of hourly employees and instead increase core staffing. We therefore apply co-planning, which means you will sometimes work shifts at other units, but your primary working time will be at your so-called home unit. Working hours are distributed across day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who both wants and is able to work in a team, but can also take independent responsibility. It is important that you have a positive basic attitude and see possibilities rather than impossibilities. You need to have an eye for what needs to be done and be able to take initiative. It is important to have good work colleagues and to be a good colleague yourself in order to create a positive work environment. Having a good sense of humor is an additional advantage!
Competency Requirements
To be considered for recruitment, you must meet the following:
• Completed care program and be a nursing assistant/support assistant or have another education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Good Swedish language skills, both oral and written.
• Good computer skills
Meriting Factors
• B driver's license
• Experience working with people with mental or neuropsychiatric disabilities
• Experience with low-arousal approach methods, AAC, and clarifying pedagogy
• Experience with TimeCareMultiAccess and Treserva
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. We apply rolling selection.
To obtain employment, an extract from the Police's criminal record must be presented.
