As a support assistant at Soldatvillan, you will be an active part of the organization, working closely with children and young people with disabilities to create a safe and developmental everyday life based on their needs and self-determination. About the position As a support assistant, you will support children and young people with various disabilities living at Soldatvillan. Here, you will be part of their daily lives and create a safe and developmental environment where each individual is given the opportunity to grow based on their own conditions and desires, in line with their self-determination. We work with structure, predictability, and clear pedagogical methods, and your role will be to provide security, affirmation, and educational support. Some of the tasks include: - Support in daily care, ADL (Activities of Daily Living), and social training - Planning and implementation of leisure activities - Communication with relatives, schools, and mobile healthcare teams - Cooking and practical household tasks - Documentation Soldatvillan is located in a quiet residential area in Viby and caters to children and young people with intellectual disabilities, with or without additional disabilities such as autism, mobility impairments, and epilepsy. Most of the children are multiply disabled and have significant care needs. Edsbergsvillan is situated in a calm residential neighborhood in Edsviken and also serves children and young people with intellectual disabilities, with or without additional disabilities such as autism, mobility impairments, and epilepsy. The positions are three temporary contracts of approximately 80% with placement in the organization, starting as agreed. One position is available at Soldatvillan and two positions are available at Edsbergsvillan. About you To succeed in this role, we expect you to have: - At least a high school education, such as the Child and Recreation Program, Health and Care Program, or another equivalent qualification. - Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. - A valid driver's license (B). - Experience working with children and young people, preferably with disabilities. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with clear pedagogical methods and/or low-arousal approaches. As a person, you are attentive, relationship-building, and have a knack for creating security and engagement.
