You are well aware that you play a crucial role in our clients' experiences, quality of life, and sense of purpose, and you always prioritize the best interests of the client. As a support assistant/support educator, you will provide assistance in the form of practical, social, and educational support, both in the individual's home and outside of it. The role involves engaging, encouraging, and motivating the individual to participate and take responsibility in their daily life. This is done with respect for the individual's autonomy and based on the agreed implementation plan. You will collaborate within the work team and with other individuals and stakeholders both within and outside the organization. We are seeking 1 permanent position and 1 longer-term temporary position. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education** Training in care and support or other education deemed relevant and equivalent. **Driver's License** Support Educator Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. As a person, you are organized, responsible, methodical, and meticulous in your thinking and working style. You find it easy to plan and maintain order, and you simply thrive on having a plan, executing it, and meeting deadlines. You are confident in both familiar and unfamiliar situations you are involved in. You possess the courage needed to speak up when necessary, and the ability to differentiate between issues and individuals. As a person, you quickly find solutions to emerging problems.
