**Description**
The Disability Care Services are looking for a support assistant/support educator for Bollvivegården 1, which is an LSS residence with a psychiatric focus located in Bor.
Working hours are scheduled for days/evenings/weekends.

**Responsibilities**
To provide support and service according to the individual needs and wishes of the users as outlined in their implementation plans. You will carry out everyday, planned support interventions and activities together with the user. The support interventions should promote the user's integrity, participation, and be conducted with respect for the user's self-determination. The user's needs should be at the center, and the person's views should be actively taken into account. The user should receive support and the right to make decisions about their life and develop their abilities to live as independently as possible. The work is based on a pedagogical and motivating approach in close collaboration with the user's network and other staff.
The responsibilities also include rehabilitation, IT-based documentation and administration, as well as delegated health care tasks.
As a support educator, you will also:
- Support and guide your own and other teams in working with the users.
- In collaboration with users and colleagues, identify needs and opportunities for development.
- Work according to solution-focused pedagogy.
- Be responsible for developing and implementing methods in the work.
- Support colleagues and teams in difficult conversations.
- Assist colleagues regarding social documentation.
- Engage in dialogue with the unit manager in the work of developing the unit's pedagogical efforts.
**Qualifications**
Completion of the Health and Care Program, the Child and Leisure Program, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer, along with good computer skills. Experience working with individuals who require support in daily life is advantageous.
You are attentive, reflective, and have a low-arousal approach.
You possess a pedagogical perspective and are clear in your communication.
You can adapt your working methods to the individual and the situation and have a respectful demeanor with empathetic abilities.
You should enjoy challenges, have a strong commitment, be change- and solution-oriented, creative, and able to engage with individuals with special needs. Experience working in psychiatry with mental health issues/mental disabilities is required.
The job requires that you can work independently, make your own decisions, and collaborate with other stakeholders/authorities.
You should be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing, have good computer skills, as social documentation is a significant part of the work. Personal suitability is of great importance.
For the position of support educator, it is a prerequisite that you have a support educator qualification or another post-secondary education focused on the disability sector, pedagogy, and psychiatry. We strive for a balanced gender distribution and welcome male applicants.
**Conditions**
Ability to speak and write Swedish.
A valid driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle.

**Care Administration**
