Then you should apply for the position of support assistant/care assistant within disability care in Gagnefs Municipality.

We are now seeking a colleague for one of our daily activity units, a permanent 75% position.
Job Responsibilities
In your work, you will provide help and support based on the user's individual wishes and needs in their daily activities.
You are expected to work from the user's needs and conditions, focusing on their strengths and resources as an inspiration for your work. We work with a clear structure and continuity. We place great importance on approach and clear communication, giving users the opportunity to participate according to their own abilities.
Together with colleagues, you are responsible for making the user's daily life secure, predictable, and meaningful. We work daily with clarifying pedagogy such as visual support, individual schedules, and more. Your mission is to create conditions so that everyone has the opportunity to live their life and take responsibility for their situation. Job tasks also include social documentation and creating implementation plans.
Qualifications
A positive attitude comes naturally to you, and you find it self-evident to contribute to a good work environment. You are happy to share your knowledge and are open to learning new things from others. You enjoy challenges and development work. You are confident, stable, and have a good approach. You need to be flexible as work may quickly require rescheduling within the organization.
You should have experience working with clarifying pedagogy and the tools and methods that promote users' ability to understand and manage their daily lives. You enjoy working independently with the user in focus but also appreciate collaboration with colleagues and other professionals. You are attentive to individual needs, have an obvious respect for others, and are accustomed to working with low-affective approaches and great patience.
We are seeking someone with previous experience working with people in disability care. It is meritorious if you are a nursing assistant, youth recreation leader, or have other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have a good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. The administrative part of the work is performed digitally, including in our operational system and other digital applications.
Terms
Daytime work Monday to Friday. Start date by agreement. Interviews may be conducted during the advertisement period.
