Are you passionate about working with children and young people at risk of being drawn into crime? Do you want to help develop and drive the work of SSPF (School, Social Services, Police, Leisure) in Hisingen? We are now recruiting a new colleague to the team!
SSPF (School, Social Services, Police, Leisure) is a collaboration focused on youth aged 12-18 who exhibit risk behaviors related to crime and substance abuse.
The coordinator role involves coordinating work around the young person with the aim of ending their problematic behavior. This includes coordinating employees from school, social services, police, and leisure services for joint interventions for the youth, convening meetings, initiating and driving processes, documenting and following up on agreed interventions.
The role also involves raising knowledge about the target group among professionals, children, youth, and parents. This can include lectures or more targeted interventions, such as those for a specific school.
The role also involves leading and conducting larger professional meetings; Working Group Meetings and Operational Meetings, based on geographical affiliation, with SSPF team members such as principals, police, leisure and field staff, etc.
SSPF Hisingen is part of the Children and Young People's Authority in Hisingen. The group currently consists of six employees and a Chief Social Secretary and is part of a larger unit. In addition to SSPF, the unit includes SIG Hisingen and two investigation teams, TUR (Team for Youth at Risk) which works with investigation and follow-up of interventions for children and youth connected to crime/network crime.
You will work closely with coordinators in your group and other SSPF coordinators in the city.
About You
We are seeking someone with a social work degree and experience working with the target group. We also desire experience working both operationally and strategically.
Previous experience with SSPF, meeting leadership, and additional training in KSL are considered merits.
You should demonstrate good interpersonal skills, respect, and consideration for those you encounter in your professional role. You should be able to create good relationships with those you serve. As a person, you should be proactive, results-oriented, and enjoy collaborating with others.
You must have strong communication skills, be able to create engagement, and be attentive.
You also need to be structured, able to work efficiently and systematically, and complete your work on time.
