As a mechanic in the Coke Plant, section Mechanical Maintenance, your task will be to provide competent and efficient maintenance services to ensure high operational availability of our facilities and production equipment. About the position As a mechanic in the Coke Plant, you will be part of a team that works creatively and solution-oriented to keep production running. You will work with troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance tasks on production facilities within the Coke Plant. The role involves delivering qualified and competent service to the production department and participating in improvement work. The work is carried out in close collaboration with electricians and instrument technicians as well as operational staff, and you will report completed tasks in our maintenance system IFS. Working hours are scheduled for shift work, which provides you with a varied workday and additional compensation for unsocial hours. Your main responsibilities • Troubleshooting and repairs on production facilities. • Operation and preventive maintenance work. • Ensuring high operational availability and quality. • Contributing to safety and improvement work. About you • You have a high school diploma with a focus on workshop/mechanics or similar experience. • Experience in maintenance work, preferably welding, is an advantage. • You are responsible, structured, and have good initiative. • You prioritize safety – for yourself and your colleagues. • Good computer skills - Experience with maintenance systems such as IFS, Linus is an advantage. • You thrive in collaboration and have good social skills. • Requirement: B driver's license.
