About this role

Do you enjoy being at the heart of the action and finding new solutions to different challenges? Would you like the opportunity to develop within a company leading the transition to fossil-free steel? Then the role of Coordinator for Support & Service in Luleå might be perfect for you. Location: Luleå. Joining the SSAB family means embarking on a journey. A journey we believe is crucial for our planet's future and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for our societal development and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities, and in tomorrow's cars. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and leadership in high-strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries with the highest greenhouse gas emissions in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free steel production process, and around 2030, we will be virtually fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be crucial in realizing this goal and thus contributing to a green transformation of the entire steel industry. SSAB Luleå will be transforming its steel production in the coming years – one of the largest industrial changes in modern times. This will create new conditions and requirements in many different areas. As a Coordinator, you will be part of the new Support & Service section and become a critical link between current operations and the transformation project. You will be a key person who makes things happen by solving practical tasks that require local knowledge of SSAB Luleå's working methods, routines, and communication channels. This might involve supporting contractor establishment, ensuring signage and wayfinding work effectively, and creating the right contacts between different functions. Your Main Responsibilities: • Be present where things are happening and contribute to good communication and collaboration between production and the transformation project. • Support the business in developing new or revising existing working methods and routines. • Depending on task type and scope, either complete tasks yourself or order services from external or internal providers. • Contribute to a structured approach within the section and ensure smooth daily operations. About You: • You have a flexible mindset with the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and can self-navigate in new areas. You are action-oriented and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and appropriately. • You are an open, positive, and attentive team player with a good ability to collaborate closely with others. • As we work in an international environment, you need to speak and write both English and Swedish. • Driving license B is required. • You enjoy being on-site close to operations – where things are happening. The pace is high, and work occurs in close collaboration with many different functions, requiring structure, communication, and collaborative skills. • Previous experience in industrial environments, coordination, or service functions is meritorious. Our Offer: At SSAB, diversity and inclusion are part of our culture. We use our values – driven, genuine, and ahead – in our daily decision-making, always with the customer in focus. This makes us all team players with a shared ambition to improve. When you start at SSAB, you become part of an organization of passionate problem solvers working together on important challenges. We will support your growth by offering a safe and friendly workplace that contributes to work-life balance. At SSAB, you have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge and grow. We offer a wide range of appreciated benefits to our employees, including: • Profit sharing • Flexible terms for reduced working hours • Health and wellness allowance Recruitment Process: 1.
