Here, you will take responsibility in a key role where you combine technical expertise with leadership and have the opportunity to make a real difference for both the business and the climate. Location: Oxelösund.
Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey we believe is crucial for the planet's future and sustainability. Steel has been one of the most important materials for our social development and will continue to be so in the future. In our homes, in bridges connecting our cities, and in tomorrow's cars. At SSAB, we are proud of our history and leadership in high-strength steel. At the same time, we are aware that steel production is one of the industries with the highest greenhouse gas emissions in the world. This must change. We have therefore developed the world's first fossil-free steel production process and are committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contributing to a green transformation of the entire steel industry.
As Section Manager, you are responsible for leading, developing, and streamlining corrective maintenance in the unit. You work closely with production and other sections both within the unit and on other units at this location. You follow up on our corrective maintenance efforts to ensure the availability of our facilities, with an emphasis on clear communication, documentation, collaboration, and flexibility.
The role includes personnel responsibility for a shift-based workforce with a strong focus on safety and continuous improvements, where you coach, support, and develop your team to achieve set goals.
Your Main Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop capabilities through mapping, training, and development
