We are now seeking an Article Planner for the Central Warehouse in the Central Maintenance department in Luleå. As part of SSAB, you will be important in realizing this goal and thus contributing to a green transformation of the entire steel industry. As an Article Planner, you will be responsible for planning and maintaining approximately 6,000 items in our internal IFS system. You will monitor purchase requests, assess re-purchase needs, and manage the setup and update of new warehouse items. You will work closely with purchasing, suppliers, goods reception, and other internal functions, playing a crucial role in ensuring that material flow operates efficiently and safely. The position also includes chemical management in Chemgroup and responsibility as a supervisor for flammable goods – which means ensuring correct storage, handling, and risk assessment. You will also support other departments in their system usage and participate in improvement work within warehouse operations. As a newcomer to the role, you will receive a comprehensive introduction and work alongside an experienced colleague. Main Responsibilities • Plan and maintain items in IFS • Monitor purchase requests and assess re-purchases • Set up and update warehouse items • Manage chemicals in Chemgroup and be a supervisor for flammable goods • Participate in and drive improvement work in warehouse operations • Support other departments in system usage • Participate in planning meetings and contribute to knowledge exchange in article planning About You • High school education, preferably with a focus on logistics, technology, or similar • Good computer skills, with experience in inventory management systems being meritorious • Precise, structured, and with a good sense of order • Strong problem-solving ability and capable of working independently • Communicative, collaborative, and comfortable with multiple contact points • Practical understanding of production and material flows • Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written • B driver's license is required Our Offer At SSAB, diversity and inclusion are part of our culture.
