Are you interested in sports and outdoor activities and have experience working in a retail environment, preferably in large-scale operations with similar products? Are you passionate about delivering top-tier customer service and feel confident with sales and service? Then you might be the one we're looking for as a temporary store employee in our Varberg store!
We are seeking an engaged and positive employee with experience in retail work, preferably with handling large product flows and seasonal products.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are accustomed to working towards key performance indicators while always keeping the customer in focus. As a store employee at Sportshopen, you'll become part of a cheerful and fantastic team working together to reach new goals.

Work Tasks💻
As a store employee with us, you'll always greet our customers with a cheerful smile and provide them with the best possible service experience. Work tasks include cashier duties, display setup, price tagging, unpacking and restocking merchandise, and keeping the store organized. You'll also have an eye for product placement and ensure that the right item is always in the right place.
A significant portion of your work time will be in the shoe department, helping customers find the right shoes for different needs. Therefore, it's important that you have an interest in shoes, especially training and hiking shoes, and preferably some product knowledge in this area.
Qualifications🏆
We are looking for someone with experience in retail, preferably focused on sports or outdoor products. You are comfortable handling large product flows and seasonal changes and have experience with product placement and rearrangement. Working towards sales targets and upselling are tasks you feel confident with.
Experience working in a warehouse is a plus, and having a forklift license is considered advantageous.
Terms🤝🏼
This is a 60% temporary position starting 1/12-25 and extending to June 2026, with a chance of extension.
We apply wages according to the collective agreement with the Commercial Employees' Union.
We may conduct a credit check and criminal record check on the applicant.

Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB was founded in 1991 and today has 21 stores under the Sportshopen name and one store under the Bazar name. In Sörred outside Gothenburg, we have our 20,000 sq m automated warehouse and office. In Grebbestad on the west coast, our headquarters and largest store is located, which is the Nordic region's largest sports store at 14,000 sq m.
Our stores are located throughout Sweden, from north to south, with a growing e-commerce that also extends to the European market. Sportshopen is today one of the larger individual actors in Sweden for sports and leisure sales. Our assortment consists mainly of clothing and shoes from leading brand suppliers, but we also develop and manufacture our own brands – clothing that can be used for activities in harsh climates, year-round.
