**Special Education Teacher for Trollhättans Samverk**
We are currently seeking a special education teacher for Trollhättans Samverk.

**Job Responsibilities**
We are now looking for a special education teacher for our interdisciplinary team that works with children and youth aged 0-16 years who require special support—both educational and social.
As a special education teacher at Trollhättans Samverk, you will work in a team with two special education teachers and two social pedagogues. In close and complementary collaboration, you will create a cross-professional and broad perspective on each case. You will also have the opportunity for close cooperation with other professionals in child and student support.
The responsibilities are shaped based on the needs for support from schools and preschools. We offer support measures at the individual, group, and school levels. The tasks are varied and may include:
- Educational and psychosocial work aimed at children and youth in vulnerable life situations
- Relational work where you contribute to building trusting and sustainable relationships between children, guardians, and professionals
- Parenting support where you assist parents regarding their children's schooling
- Promoting and preventive measures at the individual, group, and organizational levels
- Coordination of change processes where the best interests of the child are always the focus
- Crime prevention work at the individual, group, and organizational levels
- Attendance-promoting work at the individual, group, and organizational levels
**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone who is a qualified special education teacher. The role requires you to work both independently and as part of a team, and to have a good ability to collaborate with those you meet in various settings.
You are expected to coordinate and lead complex processes with both humility and clarity, always keeping the child's best interests in focus. You need to possess strong relational skills as well as the ability to work strategically and systematically. We prefer candidates who have experience working with children and students in need of special support across different age groups.
You should have a strong interest in learning new things and contributing to the development of the organization. Knowledge of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, current legislation, and good communication skills in both spoken and written form are essential. We place great importance on personal qualities.
