About this role

Description Sannaskolan is a grades 7–9 school with approximately 570 students and over 60 staff members. The school is located in Majorna, and our facilities have recently been fully renovated. The school is led by a principal and two vice principals. We have a skilled and dedicated staff team, which includes a school psychologist, counselor, school nurse, as well as special educators and special teachers. Job Responsibilities At Sannaskolan, we are seeking a special educator to join our support team. In our support team, special educators, special teachers, and teaching assistants work closely together to design our special support effectively, guide staff, and provide various forms of support to our students in their school life. The team is important to us. We highly value collaboration, and it is essential that we function well together as a group. This position is a permanent employment starting in the spring term of 2026. At Sannaskolan, we work in teams and adopt an approach based on the evidence-based model PALS. Here, you will have a varied role where you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the support activities. Together with your colleagues, we create a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus. The work also involves collaboration with other teachers, student health services, school management, guardians, and other stakeholders outside the school. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is an educated and licensed special educator. As a person, you are confident in your role and can balance the demands placed on you. You have a good understanding of how individuals absorb knowledge and their different circumstances. You adapt the way you convey your message to the recipient and encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement. You are flexible and can quickly adjust your approach, seeing opportunities in changes. Finally, you are a responsive and helpful colleague who is attentive to and open to understanding the needs, feelings, and opinions of others. We welcome your application!
