Committed Special Education Teacher for Praktiska Gymnasiet Linköping Praktiska Gymnasiet is an apprenticeship-based high school with 430 students and 40 employees. We offer national programs such as Construction and Civil Engineering, Vehicle Program, Craft Program with florist and hair/makeup stylist and hairdresser, Sales and Service Program, Electrical and Energy Program, and Plumbing Program, as well as vocational introduction programs. Today, Praktiska operates 36 high schools from Luleå in the north to Ystad in the south, with over 10,000 students and approximately 1,000 employees. As a special education teacher, you play a central role in the organization. You will closely collaborate with teachers to develop the school's special education expertise and support students in need. Your work includes leading development projects, managing documentation such as educational assessments and action plans, and serving as a support person for pedagogical issues at various levels within the organization. In the school's student health team, you will have a key role in coordinating and following up on the adaptations and measures decided. We are looking for someone who: - Has good knowledge of school governing documents and can apply them in daily work. - Possesses the tools needed to communicate and build trust with students, guardians, and educators. - Has a coaching approach and is structured and flexible. - Works long-term, sets goals, and evaluates together with colleagues. You are a trained special education teacher. Through education and/or experience, you have excellent knowledge of how education in high school is organized and are driven to develop learning environments that meet the needs of students with diverse prerequisites. You easily collaborate with individual colleagues, teams, and school management, approaching your work without ego. You have strong analytical skills and see opportunities rather than obstacles. The ability to build trusting relationships with colleagues, school management, students, and guardians is crucial in your work. The position is a permanent employment starting as soon as possible or by agreement. The permanent position is preceded by a 6-month probationary period. Are you the one we're looking for?
