Affärsgymnasiet Sports Academy is more than just a sports high school – it is a place where passion, drive, and personal development are nurtured in both sports and academics.

Yrkesgymnasiet provides students with the opportunity to combine school and practical training through workplace-based learning.
Students alternate between two weeks of practical training and two weeks in school. In the third year, students spend most of their time at their practical placements, attending school only one to two days a week.
The Role
As a special educator, you will be an important part of the schools' student health team (EHT) alongside the counselor, school nurse, career advisor, and principals. You will work closely with teachers to develop the schools' special educational competencies and create positive learning environments for all students.
Your responsibilities will include, among others:
- Conducting educational assessments and investigations
- Establishing, following up on, and ensuring the quality of action plans
- Providing special educational advice to teachers and work teams
- Contributing to development projects and working in a proactive and preventive manner
- Participating in student health work in the classroom, not just in documentation
- Engaging in meetings, follow-ups, and dialogues with guardians
- Collaborating with two principals, two school environments, and two student groups
Position Scope – Two Possible Arrangements
We are recruiting in two ways:
1. Two special educators
One per school, where you will work 40% at Affärsgymnasiet or 60% at Yrkesgymnasiet.
This option is suitable for you if you want a clear assignment, a fixed workplace, and the opportunity to work closely with students and teachers in a stable and present student health environment.
2. One special educator for both schools, 100%
For those with extensive experience, excellent prioritization and organizational skills, and who thrive in being responsible for two operations with completely different focuses.
We want to be clear:
Combining two schools is a demanding task and requires you to be confident in your role, independent, loyal, and flexible. We have previous experience indicating that this requires high competence and the ability to maintain the student health work without compromising quality, presence, or structure.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a licensed special educator
- Has experience with educational investigations and student health work
- Is confident in leading processes and contributing to school development
- Has excellent communication skills
- Can create clear structures, maintain order in complex tasks, and see the big picture
- Can work independently but also collaborate with multiple professionals
Experience in upper secondary school is an advantage.
