About this role
Magelungen Utveckling is an employee-owned company that offers qualified treatment and change initiatives for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Magelungen provides treatment as well as resource schools at both primary and secondary education levels. The goal is to create an environment within the operations that is manageable, meaningful, and comprehensible. Research and evaluation are integrated parts of all operations.
About Us
We offer education and treatment, where schooling is integrated with skills training and therapy. The organization is characterized by a collaborative spirit among various professions. In addition to educators, we have behavioral scientists, social workers, and family therapists who, together with school staff, support students in their development. The school caters to children and adolescents in grades 4-9 with significant needs for special support. The students we encounter often have social, psychosocial, or neuropsychiatric issues, and many have a long history of school absenteeism. To assist these young people in achieving a functional school experience, we work with small group sizes, high staff density, enhanced student social support, and individually tailored programs based on each student's circumstances and needs. We adopt a systemic and salutogenic perspective, focusing on working with the whole and building on what works. Our aim is to provide an environment where all students have a chance to succeed based on their individual conditions.
