JOB DESCRIPTION Do you want to contribute to strengthening students' learning, participation, and well-being? We are now looking for an engaged special educator or special teacher for Landsbro Middle School. Together with other colleagues in student health, you will play a central role in the work towards a safe and accessible school. Landsbro Middle School is a newly renovated school with pleasant facilities, close to nature, and sports facilities just a few minutes away. Here, we focus on building relationships and have close collaboration between subjects. The size of the school allows you to get to know the students - around 300 young people attend here - and we are in an exciting phase of development with a focus on safety, conducive learning environments, and study peace. In the role of special educator or special teacher, you will work alongside the school's other special educator to develop inclusive practices and support students in need of special assistance. The work takes place at the individual, group, and school levels, and you will collaborate closely with mentors, subject teachers, school management, and other professionals in student health. Your responsibilities include, among other things: • Adapting teaching based on students' individual needs • Mapping, investigating, and following up on interventions • Designing and monitoring action plans • Being a qualified conversation partner in special educational development work • Being part of the school's student health team • Developing systematic quality work in student health We are looking for someone who is empathetic, attentive, and confident in your profession. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and see opportunities in change and new working methods. You communicate and collaborate easily with students, guardians, and colleagues, and you demonstrate pedagogical creativity in adapting teaching to various needs. QUALIFICATIONS • You have a degree in special education or special teaching and a teaching license. • Experience teaching English, Swedish, or Mathematics in grades 4-9, as well as experience working with students in need of special support, is advantageous. • We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
